I am a watercolor painter myself and your artwork just knocks my socks off... They are full of life and joy, the flow of water and air, illumination... You have a truly creative spirit. I am very interested in your process of creating these beautiful art pieces. Would you share some progress shots on this blog? Do you teach anywhere? Do you sell your artwork anywhere? I love the textural effects achieved wet in wet. Do you use rough watercolor paper to enhance the granulation effects? Sorry to come up with so many questions. I am just so excited to find this website... It's truly inspirational!

Warm and cool, hard and soft edges, wet-in-wet, you have combined the lot to produce a pineapple that looks really good to eat. Wonderful technique.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Love the granulation in the background too!
ReplyDeleteDitto to all of the above!
ReplyDeleteExcelentes acuarelas, me gustan mucho, encajan perfectamente con mi gusto personal, un estilo que admiro.
